Day 19 at Life Change Recovery Center: "A Fairytale Valentine!"

Ika- 12 ng Pebrero 2010 (Biyernes)

Yeh. Its all about LOVE. As in capital L - O - V - E, love is in the air na ngang talaga at dahil malapit na ang Valentine's day ay wala akong ibang masabi kundi Love, love, love! ;) Naging makabuluhan ang linggong ito at lahat naman ay naging excited para sa party na ito. Kahit na most of the time ay wala ako sa LCRC to help my gurlfrends para sa preparation ng event na ito at feeling ko eh wala akong masyadong na-contribute, still updated pa din naman ako sa mga naganap sa mga nakaraang araw. At feeling ko nga, one week akong absent at biglang pumasok na lang para maki-party na lang.. Hehehe.

Anyways, napakaganda ng tema 'A Fairytale Valentine', masasabi kong magical talaga ang hapong iyon not only for us students but also sa mga residents and staff ng LCRC. What I liked about this special program ay yung pagsusuot namin ng different fairytale characters. Feel na feel talaga namin yung mga characters na pinortray namin and pinaghandaan namin ito ng bonggang-bongga. The resident's families also prepared costumes for them. Kaya nga ang nanalo sa kanila ng Best Costume female category ay si K. as Snow White and Ate L. as the Lion ng Wizard of OZ, tapos sa male naman ay si C., Prince charming, but mukha siyang haciendero.. Hehehe. Iba ang atmosphere during the program, it was just like seizing every single moment. Alam mong lahat ay nag-abala at naglaan ng oras para sa event na ito. The residents presentation was great as well as the students performance. Basta masaya lahat. Everybody HAPi.. ;)

After that, mayroon ding party sa labas, kasama ang staff, students from UE and PUP.. Send-off na pala ng UE ito, some of them were emotional ng magbigay ng message.. It was meaningful dahil alam kong they really enjoyed and they really learned a lot from their experiences here.. (tsk. Eh pano pa kya kami???walang iiyak. Hahaha. ) Syempre, bawal ang malungkot kaya FUN, FUN, FUN lang.. May videoke din.. Hehehe. Nakakatuwa, kasi si Dana ni hindi ko akalaing kakanta sa videoke.. Halatang nagrerelease ng stress tama ba???hehe. But really, this Valentine's Party was pure love, love, love, and pure fun, fun, fun! ;p
